Therapeutic School Age Program
Children served through the Therapeutic School Age Program have usually exhausted all other educational alternatives.
We work with children who are having problems in school due to severe behavioral challenges. Parents/Caregivers work closely with us to help children return to a regular school setting.
We help children and their families learn to manage the children's behaviors, so they are able to positively function at school, home and in the community. The goal of the program is for children, once returned to a regular school setting, to successfully maintain their behavior and academic performance.
The children we serve typically have emotional and/or behavioral problems which may cause academic problems; have a history of not responding to traditional treatment and have a full scale IQ of 70 or above.
