Our Mission

St. Vincent Family Center is a family service organization that develops children, strengthens families and sustains communities.

We can help.

The families we work with may be experiencing problems with their child’s behavior. We also work with children who may be at risk of not developing the skills necessary to understand and interact positively in the home, school and community environments.

There are many reasons a child may act out.

Typical issues and long-term problems include: language delays, issues at school, poor interpersonal relationships, self-image issues, cultural identity issues, anxiety/obsessions and compulsions, depression and mood swings, aggression, verbal and physical aggression, and a history of abuse/neglect.

No matter how you got here, we’re here for you now.

Referrals are made to the programs by parents/caregivers, social service agencies, community mental health agencies, schools, clergy and other providers in the state of Ohio. All families complete a pre-admission evaluation with our Intake Department.
