Mental Health Awareness Month

Since 1949, May has been Mental Health Awareness Month. This special focus touches millions of people in the United States through the media, local events, and screenings.

Mental Health is defined as “a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.”

At St. Vincent Family Center, we have highly trained clinicians and staff in Trauma Informed Care and committed to the children and families we serve.

Thank you to all of our supporters who help us make good kids better by providing pediatric behavioral healthcare within a learning community to change the lives of children and families.
